A short 15 minutes from the the coastal landscape of Coogee lies the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences in Ultimo Sydney.
With over 200 objects, Apollo 11 commemorates the 50th Anniversary of the Moon landing. A particularly interesting aspect of the exhibition lies within the ability to watch the moon landing through VR technology. Developed in partnership with UNSW’s iCinema and using innovative 3D modelling, the young ones will be in ore of the occassion.

Visit 'Play World at the International Convention Centre, Darling Harbour
Play World Australia is A 2-day event designed for kids taking place in Darling Harbour during the spring school holidays.
Presented by Nintendo, the venue is the ultimate fun zone for 4 - 12 year olds alike. From games to robots, toys and craft, there will be a showcase of workshops, book readings and character appearances, including Bar Bears, Ready Set Dance and Spongebob Squarepants. Play World is a high energy, engaging, interactive and most importantly, a fun experience not to be missed if you are in town during this time. The event runs between 5 - 6 October 2019.
Tickets include entry into the show and the chance to play with so many cool toys! Kids ages 4-12 will need a kids ticket, while those 13 years and older will need a general admission ticket to enter. If you’re bringing a tiny tot (someone 3 or under) they don’t require a ticket to attend.

Australia's highest-rated school holiday activity is back. Kids design, code, problem solve and become storytellers, as they move from consumers to creators with technology, and build their very own apps and games in just 2 to 4 days!
Local kids activity Sydney camps are currently available in Barangaroo, Dawes Point, Haymarket, Millers Point and The Rocks.
The camps are broken into three cateogries of difficulty starting with the 'Spark'. Here the young ones will be introduced to the world of basic coding and is usually recommended from ages 7 - 12. The next segment is the '2D Game Makers', which kids will be able to build their own top-down adventure game with heaps of mini-games and fun features! The final stage is the '3D World Builders', designed for those who have completed 'Spark' and are ready to take on the world of pure JavaScript.

Kid will be excited to by the special 'Young Wizards Quest', with the aim of restoring magic to the school of Wizardry and Witchcraft to retain it's secrets.
This room is great for those who like a challenge or who have played escape rooms before. It is one of the newest rooms and has a high amount of technology that will challenge the family. Prices range from between $36 - $44 per person depending on the amount of players participating in the task.
