- Smoking – Crowne Plaza Sydney Coogee Beach is completely non-smoking. There is a smoking area outside the main entrance of the hotel on Carr Street if you require. Smoking in the room, or on the balcony, will result in a minimum $350 cleaning fee and immediate eviction from the hotel.
- Parties and/or excessive noise after 9:30pm – We ensure a strict “No Party” policy to ensure all of our guests enjoy their time with us and are not inconvenienced through the noise and actions of others. Anyone that breaches this policy will be given an initial warning, if there is a further breach the key holder will be charged $200 for causing disturbance to others, and any individuals not staying in the room will be asked to leave. Any further complaints will result in eviction.
I have a wedding booked next year at your hotel and only vaccinated guests will be invited. Can you guarantee that your colleagues will be vaccinated?
We are strongly encouraging all colleagues to get vaccinated as soon as they have the opportunity to do so, and we would expect that the majority of our colleagues will be vaccinated by the date of your event, however we are unable to guarantee it at this point in time.
Are all your staff vaccinated?
We are strongly encouraging all colleagues to get vaccinated as soon as they have the opportunity to do so, but we are not mandating vaccinations at this point in time. We don’t currently require employees to disclose their vaccination status but have opened channels for them to provide their vaccination status if they are comfortable doing so.
Why are you not mandating vaccinations?
We are hugely supportive of the drive to get our community full vaccinated, and recognise that it’s key to getting our country moving again and the recovery of our industry. We are strongly encouraging all colleagues to get vaccinated as soon as they have the opportunity to do so. We are aware that some organisations have mandated vaccinations for their employees. IHG’s business model, where we manage or franchise hotels that are owned by a third party, makes it a little more complex to mandate. We do, however, continue to review and work with our hotels to make the right decisions that protect colleagues, guests and the community.
What are you doing to encourage your employees to get vaccinated?
We are providing paid leave for full-time, part-time and casual colleagues to attend vaccinations. We have also been sharing regular updates through our internal channels to staff with our message of encouragement to get vaccinated as soon as they have the opportunity to do so and are asking people to share photos of their second jab on social channels to drive awareness and behaviour.
Would you mandate vaccinations if required by the government?
Yes. We always follow government advice and are prepared for that possibility.
What is your cancellation policy?
We want you to book with confidence by providing flexible booking options. For any bookings from 1 January 2022 flexible bookings can be changed without charge and most rates are able to be canceled without penalty*.

How do i get to the Airport from the hotel?
Taxis are available and give priority to Airport calls. Travel time is approxamately 20 minutes from Crowne Plaza to Sydney Domestic & 25 minutes to Sydney International. The concierge will arrange these services. The 350 bus services also runs from Coogee Beach to Mascot and takes approximately 50 minutes.
Where is the closest public transport?
The closest public transport system is via bus which is located across from the hotel on Arden St. Please see Concierge for further details.
Is it possible to have a late check-out?
Yes, however late check out are subject to availability and in some cases will have an extra fee. Please contact Reception for further details.
Can i have my luggage stored for the day?
Yes, we are happy to store guest luggage. Please contact Concierge to arrange collection and storage at no cost.
Where is the nearest bank or ATM?
The nearest bank is a Westpac or Commonwealth bank and ATM is on Coogee Bay Road, a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Please see Concierge for directions.

Complimentary high speed wireless Internet is available in your guest room and in public areas.
Can I enter the hotel through the main door after midnight?
Yes, please show your guest room key to gain entry into our hotel. We have 24 hour reception
Do you have power chargers available?
Yes, we do have adaptors available for loan from reception. A $40 loan fee will be placed on your account and reversed when returned to reception
Are mobile phone chargers available?
Some common connection chargers are available on loan from reception.
Is there a money change service available?
Yes, at reception, a selection of currencies are accepted including Canadian Dollars, Euros, British Pounds, Hong Kong Dollars, Japanese Yen, New Zealand Dollars, Singapore Dollars and US Dollars. Photo ID will be required.
Do you offer Babysitting Services?
Our hotel does not provide a babysitting service, however, concierge will be happy to provide you with information on reputable agencies.
Can I have luggage stored for the day?
Yes, please contact concierge during your stay to arrange collection and complimentary storage. Our gym is available should you want to use the showering facilities.
Where is the best place to walk or run?
Along the Coogee to Bondi path. Head to the beach turn left and follow the path for the coastal track and enjoy great panoramic views.
Do you have laundry facilities?
Dry cleaning is available 7 days a week excluding public holidays.
Can I book by IHG Rewards night with the hotel directly?
