To reach the Royal Botanic Gardens from Coogee Beach there are a few options. One of the quicker involves a two minute walk to Randwick Rugby Club, followed by the 374 Bus, which passes through the Museum of Sydney on Phillip street. Under 18 discounted Family NYE dining at Circular Quay
A family with children under 18 years of age can get their kids into the fab dining of City Extra discounted off the adults NYE package pricing. City Extra is a terrific New Year’s Eve location to view the Sydney Harbour fireworks, with City Extra windowing Circular Quay in Sydney Harbour.
Tickets to the event are costed at $485 per adult, with ($200 under 18's) allowing you a four course meal, open bar, live music and a perfect view of the Sydney Harbour bridge and the harbour. Seats are limited and sell out fast.
Iconic beach firework display announced at Coogee Beach
It's back! Coogee Sparkles is confirmed to return this New Year's Eve, Friday 31 December 2021. The 20-minute fireworks display is scheduled for the family-friendly time of 9pm, complimented with roving music and entertainment in the afternoon. Road closures and special event clearways will be implemented from midday 31 December.
The annual Coogee fireworks display is organised by Randwick Council coming off a postponement in 2020. There is a variety of vantage spots to capture the production including from Goldstein Reserve, Grant Reserve, Trenerry Reserve and Dunningham Reserve. Coogee Beach remains one of the most popular new years events in Sydney outside of the CBD.
