Exciting changes are coming to Sydney’s coastline!
We’re thrilled to share that IHG Hotels & Resorts, together with our owning partner Salter Brothers, have officially begun the transformation of Crowne Plaza Sydney Coogee Beach into the InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach – bringing elevated luxury to one of Australia's most iconic beachfronts.
Key Transformations include:
- Guest Rooms: A full transformation of our rooms and suites featuring elegantly designed bathrooms with bespoke finishes, premium beds, plush new carpets, flowing drapery and a refined coastal-inspired colour palette.
- Arrival Experience: A seamlessly elevated welcome with a newly designed lobby and porte-cochère offering a sophisticated sense of arrival that embodies contemporary elegance.
- Restaurants and Bars: A bold new dining concept celebrating coastal indulgence with immersive interiors, a refined yet relaxed ambience and a menu highlighting the region’s finest seasonal ingredients.
- Conference and Event Spaces: Thoughtfully curated technology-enabled conference and event spaces designed for exceptional gatherings featuring seamless connectivity, bespoke service and an inspiring setting including an elegantly redesigned Grand Ballroom
- Leisure Deck: A reimagined wellness sanctuary featuring an ocean-facing infinity edge swimming pool, a vibrant poolside bar, poolside cabanas and sun loungers along with an outdoor event terrace offering breathtaking Pacific Ocean views.
The revamp promises a sophisticated coastal escape, exceptional dining, and world-class hospitality. InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach will also introduce a new spa and wellness facility, beach front Club InterContinental and a new signature restaurant featuring an internationally renowned restaurant group, Rick Stein.
