Your Summer 2020 Guide
Moonlight Cinema at Centennial Parklands
This summer season the always-popular outdoor Moonlight Cinema returns to it's original heartland of the Centennial Parklands. It's time to roll up your blanket and snuggle up under the stars with friends and family. Enjoy a mixture of both new releases from Charlie's Angles, Rocketman and Star Wars: Episode IX to cult classics such as 10 Things I Hate About You. This year's screenings will take place inside the Parklands at the Belvedere Amphitheatre. The Centennial Parklands are a short 10 minutes from your Coogee Hotel. Buses are frequently accessible opposite the hotel on Arden Street to Anzac parade, leaving a short 3 minute walk. Alternatively guests can access the Parklands by taking an Uber.
Australia Day Weekend
From 10am to 2pm, splash and slide your way into Australia Day on the free waterslides at Goldstein Reserve, Coogee Beach. Bring the family and come and enjoy a number of waterslides and inflatables. The reserve is flat with picnic shelters and public BBQ's for early arrivals. For those looking to explore the city in some more depth, Tumbalong Park in Sydney's Darling Harbor will schedule a fun-filled entertaining lineup of activities and artists for the little ones. The annual Wiggles concert will start of proceedings before being closely followed by food revolution band The Vegetable Plot and Big Science.
Organise Your Stay Around Sydney Laneway Festival 2020
Laneway Festival Sydney will celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2020. Headlining the day are the likes of hugely popular American rapper Earl Sweatshirt as well as pop pioneer Charli XCX. Other international artists include Omar Apollo and British singer, songwriter and actress Mahalia.
The Iconic St Jerome's Laneway Festival will make a large change and make it's way to the more centralised location of The Domain on Sunday 2nd February 2020. Why not make a weekend of it and organise a stay by the ocean in Coogee Beach with a close friend.
